Thermal Insulation Association of Canada is the national industry association for contractors, distributors and manufacturers of commercial, industrial and institutional thermal insulation, asbestos abatement and firestop.

Thermal Insulation Association of Alberta consists of mechanical insulation contractors, both union and non-union, as well as manufacturer and supplier company members. There is also an affiliate membership for those associated with the industry in an indirect way. Association membership serves the industrial and commercial needs of Alberta, the Yukon and N.W.T.

National Insulation Association of the USA is a not-for-profit trade association representing both merit (open shop) and union contractors, distributors, laminators, fabricators, and manufacturers that provide thermal insulation, insulation accessories, and components to the commercial, mechanical, and industrial markets throughout the nation. Since 1953, the northern Virginia–based association has been the voice of the insulation industry and is dedicated to keeping the commercial and industrial insulation industry up to date on the latest industry trends and technologies.

The National Insulation Association has been traditionally a member-focused organization in that its role has been (and still is) to provide goods and services to its members. Through a new committee - its Foundation for Education, Training and Industry Advancement Program, formerly known as Growing the Insulation Industry Program - NIA will promote the benefits of commercial and industrial insulation to outside audiences such as specifiers, architects, energy managers, plant operators, building owners, facility managers, government agencies and others.

Firestop Contractors International Association is an association comprised of Firestop Contractors, Firestop Manufacturers, Firestop Associates and Firestop Consultants located throughout North America. FCIA is expanding to an international association with members in Europe and other parts of the world. Through active participation in the FCIA and other related association conferences, members contribute to the advancement of the firestop industry and maintain exceptional knowledge of this specialized service.

Alberta Industrial Fire Protection Association (AIFPA) promotes awareness of industrial fire protection through information sharing and joint problem solving. AIFPA is endorsed by the Alberta Fire Chief Association, the Alberta Fire Training School and the Alberta Fire Commissioner's Office. AIFPA meetings focus on common industry issues, provide a forum for the exchange of information and solutions, and work with other emergency organization stakeholders from the Mining, Pulp & Paper, Petro Chemical, Fertilizer and Oil refining sectors in Alberta. AIFPA is committed to be industry's emergency response forum in Alberta.
